Check your waistline before start your waist training.
Step 1: Take Your Measurements
- Under-bust measurement: Measure right at your bra line and make sure you measure parallel to the ground.
- Natural Waist Measurement: Measure where you bend side to side and usually about 1″ above your navel.
- Upper Hip Measurement: Measure at or slightly below your hip bone. Just above where you bend when you sit.
- Torso Length Measurement: Sit down and be sure to sit straight. Place the measuring tape centered under your breast and extend the tape to the top of your thigh. (Video).
Step 2: Determine Your Size and Styles
According to corset sizing guideline: If your natural waist is over 38″, suggest select a corset 7 – 10 inches smaller than your natural waist. For under 38″, suggest select a corset 4-7 inches smaller than your natural waist. For instance, you should purchase a size 24″ corset if your waist is 29″.
Corsets are available in a variety of different sizes and levels of “curve” to suit a variety of body types and styles. Articles below will introduce to you an overview of the types of corsets available, as well as the best waist corset that fit your style and body.
